Doug Clark | 40-44 2009 and 2010 Most Valuable Athlete

Doug Clark was the 2009 Hawaii Ironman 40-44 Champion and the fastest American at ITU Short Course Worlds in each of the last two years. He was 2nd overall at USAT Nationals in 2010, where he defended his National Masters title for the third consecutive year. Since arriving from the UK 13 years ago Doug has taken 1st overall in 37 triathlons, 3 of them Half-Ironmans. He is a Software Engineer for Alcatel-Lucent in New Jersey, and is afflicted with being almost 6' 5". Fatherhood means he favors intensity over volume, and he did over half of his Ironman Training during his commute.
